...It has to work with Windows 98 and be free.

 

I need to get some info on the hard drive, CPU, GPU, and stuff like that. If anyone can help me out with this, I'd really appreciate it. :)

Speccy? Most likely won't work with windows 98 though...

What kind of information do you want on the parts?

Pretty much anything that CPU-Z, GPU-Z, and CrystalDiskInfo/Auslogics Drive Monitor can.

well shouldn't be too hard getting it out, just a screwdriver and some time to get it out and then you could find out what kind of hard drive it is then i don't know if it would work, but CPU-Z and GPU-Z provide that info you are looking for, but you could always do the hard thing, wipe the drive clean install some form of linux and then install CPU-Z and GPU-Z on there if they are supported, which is a better chance than windows 98

None of the information applies to mine, since it was the top end one, and all of the reviews and crap seem to be for the middle-end one.

I think I ran CPU-Z on my other 98 computer a while ago. I'll have to try and find the old release that will work with it.
