Small display personal assistant type device - does this exist?

Looking at what options are available to have a small - let's say 10" - screen added to all of our office desks to be used for display of personal content when you book a desk using our hot desk system.

 

What I want to use it for is allowing staff to customise it through windows to show what they want to see at their desk, family photo, scenery, calendar, clock, weather and other dashboard type widgets. Could show when they're next meeting is, where they are working if they have to step away for a few hours etc? Also would allow us to roll out a message to all staff in a format that is more likely to be read. Ie - Staff Drinks this Friday from 5pm

 

anything like this exist? Doesn't necessarily need to be interactive, just a visible personal dashboard?

There are add on screens meant for laptops that will add allow you to do want you want.
