need advice/help for pc freezing

Hello I need some advice/help with a problem i am having with my pc. my pc turns on goes to windows but after a few mins freezes . but odd thing is num,scroll,caps locks working. the same also happened in safe. or in any game or in just desktop idle.
it also happened in bios once . i have reinstalled  the gpu and rams to no effect. tried all ram slots. i like to point out the few thing that has happend before this started happening . after the pc started freezing i found out my cpu fan broke so changed it after i changed this still happened, after that i found a strange thing normally my rams were on the a2b2 slots which are recommended by the board msi b450 pro carbon but in bios it was showing on 8 gb not but in desk top it was showing 16 on cpuz so i placed the rams in the other two slots now bios also shows 16gb but the main problem is there it freezes after few mins. num,scroll,capslock working.

my specs are.
cpu- amd r52600
gpu- gigabyte winforce 1060 3gb
mobo - msi b450 gaming pro carbon
ram - corsair vengence lpx 8*2 3000 mhz
ssd - 1 year old / fairly new gigabyte 1 tb m.2
psu - cm mwe v2 bronze 550
cpu fan - was cm h410r now amd standard cooler

ps . this all started around 2 days ago.

Try looking for a bios update/reinstalling windows, seems to be a software issue, if ur bios is up to date then try to flash the bios on to the motherboard( basically reinstall bios)
