would a RAM upgrade 2133mhz 16gb to 3200mhz 16 gb (i5 9600k and 2070s, 1440p monitor with 144hz) be worth it for gaming? What fps increase can I expect, if any? Especially in games like Overwatch (2) and FF14?

Specs:

It will be different from game to game, there probably will be a difference,

if the difference is worth or noticable depends on how many fps you get now, for example: if you get 50fps the faster ram could do 55 or 60fps, but again it depends on the game

realisticaly looking at 4fps difference (in some games only 2), now it could help you with 5% or 1% lows fps and reduce studder or the screen could feel more stable,

make sure if you choose to upgrade to get dual-chanel ram

Intel systems are less dependent on RAM speeds than Ryzen, so the difference for tasks that arent that RAM intensive the difference will be minor.

So very little in games like Overwatch, maybe more in open world games as it has to load textures and stuff when transitioning between areas

Have you tried overclocking your current ram?

Yes, but it only goes to 2666mhz and 2/2 times after a few weeks the system crashed and automatically disabled xmp, thus im not using it anymore

Yeah, not all ram are overclockable, especially the cheap ones. I OC'd my brothers Ram from 2133 to 2666 without issue. Probably could have taken it up to 3000 with some tuning.

I trust you increased the voltage accordingly.
