I can try both stock to see if that would be the reason, but I wouldn't think so for that much temperature

I wouldn't expect your CPU oc to affect your GPU temps. Especially at 39degrees coolant. Maybe give your Videocard stock settings and see if the temps are more in check. If not, may be time for a reseat of that waterblock.

I completed my custom loop with the specs below and after around 2hrs of gaming the GPU had these temperatures, is that expected or the high junction means that I should re install the block for the gpu?

FYI: the columns are Current | Minimum | Maximum temp

Loop specs:

5800X undervolted

3080 Overclocked

420mm rad

360mm rad

d5 pump with res combo

What game??

Tad high, I think I get around 55max on my system. With 2 360 rads. But I could see it creep to 60 depending on game and environment, like ambient room temp.

The game was PC building sim 2, When playing COD last night I saw it around 68/70 on both CPU and GPU. Room temp was around 22/23 C. Water temp was 39C

Yeah, that's interesting. My water temp never goes higher than 40 (now that I adjusted my fan curve) and don't normally see above 55 for my GPU. 70 is a lot higher than I would expect under water. For me anyways.

You don't have any intense OC going on do you?

On the GPU is power limit 107, core +100 and Mem + 500. No changes on the Voltage

On the CPU is Curve is -30 on all cores except 1 is -26 and boost is Max 175MHz

To test I didn't touch the cpu and with Heaven running for 5min the GPU is at 72C with hotspot at 100C. I think I should empty the loop and remount the block correct?

All of the temps seem high, what board and block is being used? My 3090fe  sticks around 38 to 46c, depending on the game and res, while the cpu suffers around 70-80c. Prolly not a fair comparison given the performance to watt.

Your pump speed might be too low.  You have adequate radiator capacity for the system.  Try setting a curve where the pump is at 70% when the water temp is around 32C and 100% when the water temp is 40C.  Also what does your fan curve look like?

Other than the fact that I putted way too much paste, everything seems fine to me on the block and paste coverage

So both were correct, after remounting the GPU and changing the pump curve to be 60% until 30C then ramp up. the GPU is around 45/50C when gaming. The CPU didnt change it is the same as before so far
