While buying additional ssd and hdd, I learned that it's really a bad idea to use power cables that are not from original PSU box, because they are not standardized between different manufacturers.

But what about SATA power cables with male at beginning and the female at the end? Are they truly universal or they can kill drive too if they are wrong kind?

Right now my old hdd and ssd powered from 2 (one for each drive) 6pin > SATA female cable with a bunch SATA females slots in between.

I have idea to buy two SATA m > SATA f cables and plug the M end into the in between SATA female slot of a cable that powers old drive and F end into the new drive. Each SATA m > SATA f  for two new drives, new hdd will be powered from the cable of old hhd and new ssd will be powered from cable of old ssd

some of those cables are made VERY poorly, but the ones that are made to acceptable standards are a decent option if you dont have enough sata plugs.

and by very poorly i mean very thin cables, and very flimsy connectors.

The warning is mainly about how PSU modular cable is might not wired the same way. (One that goes straight into your PSU)
Your question are mainly about extension & adapters, although like @manikyath said, some are good, some are shit, and some are shit with fake marking on it's cable.

Example : Marking the cable "AWG 18" while the amount of strands inside the insulation doesn't even reach half of actual AWG 18

While it might be just fine if used to power low load stuffs, the problem will quickly become critical when unknowingly using it for high enough load.

Sata extensions will be fine, just don't buy them from aliexpress. Or do if you want to roll a little dice.

Not many option in my country, the non aliexpress stuffs price is sometimes absurd.
There is honest seller that sells good quality stuffs though, just have to be patient in finding one, and some trial & error. 🤣

But yeah, while standards are there, and might even mention cable size, it is up to the cable maker whether or not to adhere to it.

All I'm saying to OP is that, there is shit things out there, and don't think all the same.

Seems fine to me, they have proper offices in the EU. Usually means their stuff should have all the necessary certificates.

Got it. Btw, before learning about danger of mixing up PSU cables i already installed new ssd using  6pin > sata  cable from different PSU to power it up. Ssd worked fine, then after 2 hours i unplugged it from pc. Does using the wrong cable kills drive instantly or does it damage it over time?

SATA is a standard, but the SATA standard doesnt define build quality on the connector assembly, cable gauge, quality of the joint between cable and connector, etc.

as for where - the source of all garbage: amazon and ebay?
