PLEASE HELP LOW CPU USAGE IN GAMES

My rig is 

i5-12600k (not overclocked)

rtx 3080 

z690 asus prime p

ddr5 5200 mhz 

750 w 

 

 

Hi this problem had never really occurred until i downloaded warzone and noticed my gpu was at 90%+ but my  cpu was at around 10 or 20, and i was not getting the frames that i shouldve been getting. Also for some reason this is only when i am playing games when im not gaming ive seen the cpu at 80-100% usage in other extensive uses. Now every other game runs fine but tonight i went into the bios and tweaked somethings and when i came to my desktop launched apex i had the same problem as warzone but now its all my games. my frames in all my games have reduced by 50-75% because of the low cpu usage. Now after that i realized my dumbass i fucked something up in the bios tried fixing it and my pc blue screened like 4 times until i just reset everything in the bios to default and didnt touch anything except xmp but that doesnt even matter cause memeroy frequency is capped at 4800 for 12th gen. Anyway my pc boots and this shit is still fucked. please help.

Reset BIOS to standard and start from there.
And dont randomly adjust settings.
Google what you're changing so you know what it is, and what it does.

Also make sure all parts get good cooling, and all the fans are working properly.

I reset all settings to default in bios and the problem still remained. all parts are running cool and fans are working so I really dont know what I messed up that putting everything back to where it was didnt change it.

pretty much all games im assuming. I tested 4 games Overwatch 2, Minecraft shaders, Apex, and warzone.

Do you have the latest Bios, USB firmware and Intel ME firmware?

UPDATE: i have updated my bios to the latest version and upgraded to windows 11 and still the problem remains.

I'd recommend running 3DMark Firestrike and TimeSpy and informing us about the scores so we could check if those are as they should be.

The free/demo version includes those tests.

that shit is 35 dollars and it makes u buy the app first and then you can use firestrike i aint buying that and my userbenchmark is not working for some reason its just stuck saying updating maybe because i downloaded windows 11?

hey man my apologies you were right im just dumb. some updates that i have are for some reason one open day i got a windows update and it fixed my problem 100% utilization cpu boosting to 4.8 ghz life was good then next time i turned on my computer i was hit with 1% cpu utilization in game but my frequencies were turboing.

TimeSpy shows the performance to be OK for that setup, maybe a tiny bit underperforming because of GPU temperatures nearing 100°C.

Which computer case do you use, how many case fans and how oriented/placed?
