Keyboard don’t work after waking up pc

I have an Corsair rgb keyboard.  Last month or so every time I wake up pc from sleep the keyboard won’t work. No lights nothing, so I have to unplug keyboard and plug back in to get it to work.

 

Is these a keyboard problem or a motherboard?

Possibly neither.  Could be just software.  Or not even that.

Windows 10?  Look in your sleep settings.  This seems to be about sleep states not port damage.  Does your mouse do this too?  Or just the keyboard?  If so how is it plugged in compared to the mouse?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.
