Hi recently my pc has been suddenly shutting down. This most often occurs shortly after boot up but has happened numerous times while gaming. Upon boot up I get a message "Asus anti-surge was triggered to protect system from unstable power supply". I am unsure how to best approach this problem, should I turn anti surge off?. Any help or suggestions please.

It might be due to faulty/ old wiring in your home. An easy solution will be using a surge protector(cheap) or a UPS(expensive) between your wall and PC. Unless your Power Supply is failing, which you should get checked before buying the aforementioned items.

Hope it helps! :)
