PC doesnt boot after applying XMP profile

Go to solution Solved by RetiZ,

If the RAM's default speed is 3600mhz then it should be running at 3600mhz natively without any messing about.
Are you able to set the BIOS to it's default factory settings?
My PC won't allow me to boot if I try to do anything to do with overclocking the RAM, but it runs at it's default speed of 4800mhz with settings as stock.

Hello.

My specs are:

11400f

ASUS TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS

Crucial 2x16GB DDR4 3600MHz Ballistix Black

Im noob at OC, so after some googling I found out that all I need to do is to set XMP profile at BIOS. I have two options XMP1 and XMP2. I have tried both of them and the result is the same - PC doesnt boot. So I have to use default "auto" option which set my ram at 2666. Any idea how to make it work at 3600?

My bios is up to date, ram set up at a2 b2 slots.

Crucial is on the list though not the exact model, but I see no reason for it not to work. Crucial is decent vendor.

as default it runs as 2666Mhz for some reason.

Im not sure what exactly was the problem, but I have reset bios settings and right after I was able to choose XMP1 and boot successfully at 3600Mhz!
