HELP!!!

I am current rebuilding my first ever custom PC and I'm having trouble finding the new parts to replace the old. My first build had an I7-7700 16 gig Avexir Raiden series Ram and a Galax HOF 1080. It took me almost 2 years and an ungodly amount of overtime to build but it was worth it. She still works beautifully today but I'd like to update her to current spec. I can't find a HOF 3080 anywhere and finding any Avexir Raiden series ddr4 is like finding a golden needle in a haystack. If anyone has a hookup on either of these parts id be eternally grateful for the info.

Also, that i3 CPU is outdated for modern gaming and it would bottleneck a 3080 by a lot.

Are you just determined to use the same brand of RAM and the same brand for your new GPU because you like the way they look, or...?

 

As already mentioned, the 7700 can only deliver entry-level performance by 2022 standards. You should probably be thinking about how much money you want to put into this system versus starting a whole new build.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I'm going to update it to at least an intel 12th Gen cpu. Sorry for not mentioning that earlier. But yes I am looking for specific brands to keep the new build as close to the old build as possible for nostalgia purposes while also keeping my performance high.

Maybe just build a whole new rig to daily drive, using parts that are easier to find, and keep your first ever custom PC intact for sentimental value?
