Here's a question that no one can seem to answer....the internet can't anyway cos there are no straight answers to it, how many colours on screen can the commodore amiga display?

HAM6 can put 4096 colors on screen at the same time.

Doesn't  it also depend on the interface?  I'm trying to remember, but there's some old standard like EGA that shows up better with VGA cabling than composite.  Or something to that effect.  Looks like vaporwave graphics with the wrong output, but looks great (superior to other graphics) when used with the right output.

CGA is what I'm thinking of.  Composite out > RGBI.   There's a good video on youtube that covers how CGA works.

All Amiga systems can display full-screen animated planar graphics with 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 (EHB Mode), or 4096 colors (HAM Mode). Models with the AGA chipset (A1200 and A4000) also have non-EHB 64, 128, 256, and 262144 (HAM8 Mode) color modes and a palette expanded from 4096 to 16.8 million colors.

Is ham an emulator as it states there that ham is superior to the amiga
