Need Help Deciding!

I am currently on the market to buy a monitor for my PS5. My goal is to get 4K resolution and 144hz refresh rate (120fps for ps5).

I mainly play more story driven games hence the higher resolution, but I also like to dabble in FPS games.

My budget would be about 900 USD but I am from New Zealand.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated 🙂

Since that's out of your budget, either save up more money or settle on a 1080p 144Hz monitor. 1440p won't do you much good since the PS5 doesn't support that resolution. Or look on the used market. Maybe you'll find a used Samsung Odyssey G8 4K or a similar monitor.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

If I raised my budget by $500 what would you recommend?

They do now, but with a bit of downside.

So yeah, better save up some more for a decent 4K monitor.

Occassionaly visits the forum when I have nothing to do at work.

If you can afford it, go for this one: MSI Optix MAG281URF 27.9" 3840x2160 144 Hz Monitor (Optix MAG281URF) - PCPartPicker

That seems to be the cheapest good option in NZ.
