Upgrade RAM or SSD

Go to solution Solved by AnewUser3021,

If you game on it or do something that require a lot of application to be opened regularly then i would say upgrade your ram. 8 gigabyte in dual channel would be a great upgrade

So, I'm stuck in this decision where either I can upgrade ram or SSD. I just bought an ssd but my motherboard's having M.2 L3.5 but I can't find any ssd that is compatible to that socket. So, if I have to install an M.2 nvme ssd, I would have to buy an adapter for that, or I can upgrade my PC's RAM.

My system specs: cpu: Intel core i3 6100, Ram: 4gb ddr3l (not laptop version), no gpu, Storage: 2x512gb hdd.

I would really appreciate your advise.

Hey, so this is the ssd compatible with my pc, the difference is that it is having 5 pins on the smaller side while normal ssd's have 4 pins instead.

SSD compatible with my pc.jpg

Also, I'm not buying this ssd as it would be dumb to buy 256gigs of storage for around 128$.
