Noise Cancelling Question

Hi, So I found a spare microphone lying around and i was just wondering if it can be used as a noise-cancelling microphone, is there an application for windows that would allow a spare microphone be used for that purpose?

I know in Control Panel < Sound < -insert your audio device- < Enhancements tab, there are some things you can enable like Acoustic Echo Cancellation and other stuff.

there is no enhancements tab for me, any programs out there?

There may be a way to give Foobar2000 control over how Windows handles sound and give those kind-of options I mentioned for the microphone enhancements in the sound control panel. I just can't remember how to do it.

 

Maybe someone else on the forum knows a way to help you. If I find a way to do it before someone else helps you out I'll edit this post with the guide.
