.NET Runtime Optimisation Service prolonged high CPU usage.

Go to solution Solved by Eigenvektor,

The service is intended to pre-compile/optimize .Net applications so they can run faster/use less resources at runtime. Maybe you have a particularly large .Net app installed that just takes a long time to compile 🤷‍♂️

Could try some of the stuff found here: https://appuals.com/fix-high-cpu-usage-by-net-runtime-optimization-service/

My laptop: Lenovo IdeaPad Gaming 3 - 11300h + RTX 3050 + 16gb RAM

Everytime I boot my system .NET Runtime Optimisation Service starts automatically and eats aroung 18-20% of my CPU. Also it never seems to complete the task it is performing. I have to manually end the service to free up space on the CPU for multitasking. It does not care if the CPU is busy or not, it just starts automatically and system starts to lag if I am gaming.
