What should I buy then? Even the AX1600i comes with only 3years warranty and costs 640euro.

If it's a Corsair PSU contact them directly for warranty.

I had an old AX760 that died a day or two out of the official warranty time and it was replaced no questions asked, was emailed all the instructions and a prepaid shipping label, shipped the psu to Taiwan, from Australia, pretty sure it was less then 2 weeks and i had a replacement psu in my hands.

The 760i was a unit with some tidbits, it had solder joint issues according to JGuru from what I heard, mine still boot loops... that was also another common problem. 1600i is nothing short of amazing. 馃檪
