Code 43 gtx 1060.

I have a gtx 1060 card i bought 1 day ago it worked fine when i installed the latest drivers ran furmark 80* max 35 at normal

I used some program to fix the code 43 which does work until i restart my pc and it happens again : https://egpu.io/forums/expresscard-mpcie-m-2-adapters/script-nvidia-error43-fixer/

With the program i still can't see my drivers even tho they are installed and can't see the gpu in task manager if thats important ( i used to see it )

Full specs:

Ram:12 gb of ram 1600 mhz

i5-3450

P8M61-MX motherboard

gtx 1060

power supply : arena series 500w chieftech ( it has a 8 pin connector that my gpu requires)

I made sure that the pcie cables are all the way in , gpu right in the pci slot....I left some screenshots to get a better look at the problem.

Please help.

Do you have this thing in an egpu box?

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

I quite don't understand what do you mean

That fix appears to be for an egpu, which is an external box that holds a video card and uses thunderbolt.  A rather specialized and unusual case.

I think my motherboard is outdates , so i can't even install the gpu propertly.

Yours at least has no northbridge.  I’ve got an even older motherboard, but it’s got pcie3 so there isn’t an issue.

I saw this issue once. Problem then was windows 10 missing updates.
After updating Windows 10 fully, problems disappeared.
Not sure what exactly was the problem but I just found that solution on another forum at that point.
