Bent AIO tubes

Go to solution Solved by tkitch,

shouldn't really be a problem, that's not a terrible bend/flex.

Sooo i finnaly built a new PC minus the gfx card and i went abit overboard on fans i think. Anywho in order to fir the two top 140mm fans i had to push up against the aio tubes quite hard. Im just wondering if anyone has experience with this and if it can turn into a problem.

Aio is H115i

Fans 140MM MLPro

Any advice is appriciated.

If you can I would recommend either having the tubes at the bottom or mounting the AIO on top. No because of the tube bending, but because of the water flow. With the tubes at the top, you'll get air bubbles and gurgling. You won't be using it to its fullest potential.

I havent heard any gurgling a good chunk of the rad and the tubes are above the pump so it shouldnt be an issue, i wanted to keep the tubes out the way for a future gpu. thx guys

All good. I reckon your temps will be pretty good with that config.

Just with the gurgling, I don't think it's dependant on whether the highest part of the Rad are above the pump - even if they're safely above it as they are in your rig, gurgling can still happen (but not guaranteed). Good news that it's not for you 👍🏽

Thanks

I had an AMD fx 8350 for the longest time and my idle temps with that cpu were great even with an oc i would get idle temps around 20-30c max and at night or in the winter the cpu idle temps would be 15c ish so when i just upgraded to the 5600x the idle temps were in the 40c using the same Hyper 212evo i was suprised. My idle temps are now mid 30s low 40s with the 280mm AIO. What idle temps do u get on ur 5600x?

HW Info before and just after Aida 64 System Stability

Under load i get up to 65c with a small oc and the two aio fans on a custom curve and the others almost silent.
