Hi all,

I would like to upgrade my GPU to an 3070 or RX 6750 XT (AMD seems to me like the more "Bang for Buck" option)

But i was wondering if my rig would be able to handle the new GPU or if i need to upgrade some other components to make it work.

Here is my rig right now, some feedback for upgrades would be awesome.

Why do you think ps isnt good enough? tdp for that gpu is 250w as far as i saw..?

it honestly could be enough, it also is a quality psu, but it's cutting it closer than i would be comfortable with.

Do you think a 750 or can i get away with a 650 wattage?

650w would be okay. i would just try it with your current psu first, you already own it. if it isn't enough, then buy another.

PSU's dont operate best running at the high end of their range, it depends on the PSU, but I'd upgrade the PSU as well all the same.

Look at this vieo, at 08:18 you have total system consumption of 380w with that gpu, that power suply is ok as i sad..

And this results are with ryzen 7 5800x3D that draws more power than your cpu, so you wont get more than 350w total system consumption on your pc..
