Is buying something Used - Like New worth it to save 15$?

Hello

I'm currently buying headphones for general day to day use. I'm a bit short on cash and saw that I can save about 15$ if i buy Used-Like New from amazon.

I haven't ordered anything used from amazon yet, Idk what the deal with warranty

Depends on the price of them. If they're normally $30, then yeah, it's worh it. If they're normally $200, then no.

 

A lot warranties only apply to the original purchase and cannot be transferred. There's a good chance you'll not get the warranty if you're buying it used.

 

EDIT: There's also just the hygine side of it to consider. I'd personally not buy headphones, or really anything you wear on your head or face, used.

Used/like new/referbished are perfectly fine. However it's personal preference that I don't like the idea of wearing someones germs on my head/over/in my ears for prolonged periods of time. So I prefer new for headphones/in ears, but actually just purchased a camera lens used a few months back and it's been great and saved me a good chunk of cash.

Amazon is both a marketplace and direct sales site.  I assume you're buying from a 3rd party?  If so, you likely won't have a warranty on the item and "Like New" varies by people's experience and perceptions.  

 

Like new for me may not mean like new for you.
