Hi,

After using this build for about two years, my PC has suddenly become unable to power on. When first troubleshooting, there was no signs of life. (No power through mobo USB and CPU cooler screen off). I figured that there must be a problem with the PSU, so I bought a new power supply and wired everything. The CPU Cooler Screen Comes on now and power is able to go through the USB ports (keyboard lights up), but the PC itself will not turn on. I've tried jumping the power button headers with a flat screwdriver and that did not work. I also tried clearing the CMOS and could not achieve anything either. Any suggestions?

When you turn it on, does it have any LEDs flash before it's supposed boot?

Do the fans start spinning?

Have you tried unplugging every usb device and other connectors except for 24pin, CPU power and auxiliary for GPU. See if it does anything.

If you do have LEDs on the motherboard, look at the place it gets stuck at, if it's near RAm then your ram test failed, if CPU then the CPU test failed, etc.

Edit:

If it's a RAM issue then you can test stick by stick in each slot.

If it's a CPU issue, then, well new CPU i guess?

If you need help on used parts, contact me. I'm an used enthusiast.
