For what uses? The 5800x3d would probably be the best for gaming. Are you asking because you're considering of buying now?

Depends what you use it for, the 5800X 3D is the fastest for gaming but not for productivity.

Depends for what. There's no best jack-of-all-trades.

Agree with the previous posters. It depends on your usage and future plans. 5900X is overkill for most, I chose it because I'm a set-it-and-forget-it type and didn't want to have to mess with anything again for a long time. Of course, my ill-informed RAM selection blew that out of the water, but seems to be resolved now. Oh, and don't be fooled into paying through the nose for DDR5, PCIe4, or RAM that runs much past 3200. 3600 is okay if you can get it for a good price, but ultimately not worth it.

Yet, so many are overpaying for DDR5 and PCIe4, and / or salivating and anticipating the AM5 / 7000 series, when my 5900X screams and scores better than expected on Cinebench R23 with DDR4-3200 and a PCIe3 M.2. I have yet to see it 5900X break 5% CPU utilization. 🤣
