Isn't there that 6 month free repair thingy with htc?

I asked but it only covers the front glass... Honestly I'm thinking of rejecting their offer and sending it back in with a cracked screen...

Well, isn't it glued together and shit?

It's very difficult—although no longer impossible—to open the device without damaging the rear case. This makes every component extremely difficult to replace.

That is why it's so expensive.

but in that case, wouldn't they only repair the screen and not the glass on the camera.

I went at a Samsung RMA authorized thingy to repair the broken glass(not display or digitizer, just the gorilla glass) on my old Galaxy S Plus.Of course it wasn't under warranty anymore, but they decided they would fix it for some money.Guess how much?$200.Ahahaha.That's more than I can sell the phone for.

I got mine less than a month ago and evidently anything besides the screen is not under warranty.

What?...

Do you mean,like...what?

The speakers must be under warranty, and the internals must be too.If they aren't HTC has done something very very spoo00o0ky.

Wait, after all,the camera is an internal device.

they count that a physical damage even though it only requires a change in atmospheric pressure and temperature drops to cause the damned thing to break on contact.

Wait, and they still replace screens?Even physically damaged ones?

their warranty is shady as fuck. I honestly am questioning the fact that they still call it customer service when its more like repair center plus extra costs.

you clearly dont understand what the process is to actually fix that is. honestly im not surprised of that at all. also that might teach u to get a case.

i dont use a case on my original htc one. but then again i also kdont know how u could damage the phone like that. might as well do the phone smash thing for the oneplus one thing if u are going to crack the screen. send it back for your replacement screen and possibly get a free phone ni the process

I had my original HTC one without a case and had no problems. The fact that it broke without any external forces still baffles me. I had it in my pocket and nothing could break it.

The thing is, I didn't. I pulled it out of my pocket and the thing was cracked... I didn't drop it and It's obviously some defective glass. Sadly HTC don't give no fucks whether the glass was defective or not.

Looking into their warranty, If you so much as use the phone its voided. Any physical damage will void your warranty. Even a small scratch...
