Upgrade or new set up?

Hello, I am torn for a bit if by next year should I still upgrade this or purchase at least i3 12th gen pc set up since that doesn't cost that much and a decent motherboard for different gen of intel for future upgrade? 
If upgrade, aside from the GPU, what else should I upgrade from this set up? 

CPU: Intel i5 6500
MOBO: H110m Pro VH Plus
CPU Cooler: GameKM UFO- 01 240mm
RAM: 16gb
GPU: GTX 950
Storage: Ramsta 256gb SSD and 1TB WD blue
Case: GameKM Ice Drill
PSU: Corsair VS550
FANS: Inplay Ice Tower

Not so much but works fine for me since i'm just playing Valorant, CSGO and Dota2.

For modern AAA games, go new. 

If you only play the games you have listed, a 6700 and used say, 1080 will give you more performance for not much $$$.
