As I've mentioned on a few different threads, I am converting my old PC into a NAS. As part of this I have taken the entire system apart to deep clean it as it hasn't been cleaned apart from a quick vacuum in 6 - 8 years. When taking it apart I gave it's CoolIT Eco-R120 a scrub down and realized the coolant might need changing as it's been running for that 6 - 8 years. The rad looks like it has a spout that could be unscrewed to be drained and refilled but I'm not sure if it actually can be serviced in this way as I can't find any docs to suggest how to do this. If the coolant can't be serviced does anyone have any suggestions for new aio or air coolers I could replace it with. My CPU is a i7 960 using socket (i think) 1366.

after 5 years, i woudl repalce the aio anyway

I Use my knowledge as business owner and self taught technician aswell as an AI to help people. AI might be controversial but it actually works pretty well 90% of the time.

As the PC is going to be a NAS should I go with a aio or a air cooler? I personally prefer a AIO however what I prefer might not be the best solution for the situation.

It's a fractal design R3 (I think) so it's a pretty spacious case however it does have a wall of HDDs behind the front intake so incoming air can be quite restricted.

Good air cooler will be enough, like others mentioned, but also a EK AIO Basic 120mm with a fan change will be great as well.

Thanks both. I decided to go with a 'be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4' as I've used them in builds before, they are typically good quality and importantly they support my 1366 socket
