Is there something wrong im doing here cause i think my phone acting as a NAT adapter instead of just bridging my network

Yep that's how android tethering works

my laptop only have 2.4 wifi so i wanted to connected my mobile that have 5ghz wifi and use it for faster data transfer from my laptop to my pc but when i connected my mobile to laptop and turn on mobile tethering i get internet but i cant find my laptop on my pc via network file sharing so when i check my laptop ip it was showing different ip than my routers dhcp pool and different gateway ip so i try to set a static ip on that NDIS adapter on my laptop but after static ip i have no internet or any connection,

Is there something wrong im doing here cause i think my phone acting as a NAT adapter instead of just bridging my network
