Bent pcie_peg_txp pin in socket - will it work fine?

Szarek

Hi, i bought second hand b560m motherboard and it arrived with 1 pin very slightly bent (i couldnt see it at first). I used pinout shown below to determine it is PCIE-PEG-TXP 1 pin.  From what I read even if this pin doesn't connect i still have pcie 4.0 x8 and i have Rx 6600 which only uses x8, not x16 so can I ignore the pin for now and put my CPU in the socket?

Yeah, you’d be surprised what will still work even with multiple outright missing pins.

If an RMA isn’t an option for the board, you can try unbending the pin if you have a steady hand and some small tweezers.

Though you need really small ones prefferably pointed tip

i personally just use 2 needles, 2nd needle helps with leverage, and the way you unbend the pin is leverage so use stuff like plastic as a leverage point for the needle
