RM850 vs 850x

I've read about the 850x being the better version compared to the 850 so that's not really my question.

 

My options are:

RM850x (CP-9020180 - 2018 Edition)

RM850 (CP-9020235)

 

The 850x is ~$14 more which I don't mind paying but I think the 850 is the newer model. I can't tell what the differences are aside from some different cables that are included.

 

So the question is do i go for the 850x despite being the older model or have there been changes, to the 850, that would make it the better option? Or should I just go 850 cos it's cheaper?

I'd just get whatevers cheaper of the 2. The newer model which i assume is the 2021 version, has a bit louder fan, but they're both fine choices

The base RM850 without the X doesn't have in cable capacitors, so it's much easier to work with.
