PC Won't turn on

Johan Liebert

hello

it's been a year and a half since I bought my pc

and these are the specs :

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rTH2jZ

the case i'm not sure about the exact model

https://www.segment.com.tr/tr/urun/everest-torpedo-siyah-4-led-fan-oyuncu-kasasi

It worked fine until January when the pc didn't turn on for two hours after I woke up

but when it did the pc ran flawlessly

the same thing happened the next day

I was planning to take it to the store where I got it from

but I didn't have  time and the problem didn't happen again

until June once

then twice in July

at the start of august

the same problem happened

but when it worked I got the same screen you see when you get a post for the first time

and it stated that there were multiple attempts to power on the machine i had to click on f1 for stable or safe mode [i don't remember ]

when I clicked on f1 I was taken to the bios menu and when I clicked exit I logged in to windows

next, it didn't work for a whole day

so I took it to the store

he tried the CPU on a different system it didn't work

and tried another CPU on my system which worked fine wich made him think it was the CPU

but after that, the CPU was working as expected and he asked me to bring it again if the problem happened

but of course, the same problem happen so I started to select hibernate instead of shut down

yet the pc didn't launch

last night I tried to turn it on

it didn't work

but I checked the pc before sleep and it was on ???

the same thing happened today it worked on it's on

so tomorrow I'm taking it to fix it

the first time they stated that the CPU was the problem
before it turned on

bur I run Cinebench R 15 for 5 times

played games, edited videos and there were no performance problems

do you guys have any suggestions or ideas for the cause of the problem?

sorry for any grammatical mistakes english is not my first language

My guess would be some kind of platform issue, so motherboard or CPU, but PSU is also definitely possible here.

Try clearing CMOS. If that doesn't help try updating BIOS.

Any overclocks? memory tweaks?

Sounds like a busted PSU but it could also be the mobo, have you cleared CMOS by removing the button cell o by shorting a set of pins? (refer to the board's manual)

I didn't overclock the CPU

as for the memory, I enabled the XMP profile when I first  got the pc

even when the pc won't turn on there is always a light on the mobo and GPU

I didn't clear the CMOS to be honest I don't know how

Unplug the power supply from AC input and:

a) remove the CR2032 battery on the motherboard for a minute

or, b) find the number 11 set of pins and short them using any metallic object (a screwdriver, knife blade, drill bit)
