Hi, please and please don’t kill me for this…

So I always just loved Windows 7, I used Windows 10 for years, even LTSC, now I am on Windows 11, I removed bloat from 10 and 11 but I just don’t stand them anymore, I just can’t.
My question is how to use Windows 7 in 2022 basically I heard you need to add some USB 3.0 drivers to it, all I do on PC is to play Gta San Andreas multiplayer, Photoshop, Vegas Pro, Cloudflare and some other apps, I also need Geforce Experience. So how to use Windows 7 I also saw that someone turned Windows server 2008 r2 into win 7, if not is LTSC best option? or maybe Linux?

PC SPECS:

32gb ram

i7 9700k

rtx 2080

thanks

What issue are you having with Windows 11? Perhaps I can provide some suggestions to make your experience better, or at least share some knowledge if improvement is coming in the next release update if Win11. No promises 🙂

How good is Windows 8.1? If I use classic shell it must be very similar to 7 right?

I used it for only a short time, but with classic shell is was pretty similar to 7. But bear in mind that Windows 8.1 will loose support next January. So if you wanted to be on a supported OS you would need to be on 10 or 11 or switch to Linux.

I found that Windows 10 has gotten a lot better over the years and seems to be more polished. Plus I dont think they are really doing any major updates to it any more, which means less chance of screw ups. I think Windows 10 is officially supported till some time in 2025. Hopefully by that time Windows 11 will be good or Windows 12 may have come out and is a better choice, who knows.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
