pc build motherboard choices

Budget (including currency): 1500 GBP

Country: United Kingdom

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Just gaming in general

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): I have planned most of my parts, I just want people to review whether my parts are good and if I should cut unnecessary costs and also give me a good motherboard choice. I mostly want a good motherboard under 200 GBP, which is compatible with all of my parts.

If this is just for gaming, a 5900x is pretty overkill.

About what id reccommend

The 12400f is an good cpu if you just plan to game, but if your doing things more cpu intensive, a 12600kf/ 12700f might be warranted

I'll match some parts with your case since It's more  ~whiteish, the esports duo is a good Cheap cooler

Good board for the price

Cheapest kit of 16gb ram since 32gb won't likely be utilized

Same 1tb storage

6900xt instead of a 6800

Same case and a surprisingly cheap 850 white psu from corsair

Would recommend this, but maybe change the GPU to a 3080 12gb. That performs pretty much identical but has more features like way better ray tracing, sligthly better encoder, etc.

what if i wanted to also record a bit of gameplay? should i decrease my cpu and increase my gpu? or the other way. (i dont mind a compromise or a bit of change to my other components to increase the amount spent on cpu or gpu)
