Utorrent folder access.

Why does utorrent access favorites folder everytime i add a new torrent. I have turned on controlled folder access settings in windows defender so it blocks the action. Is this application running abstract code behind the scene, cause i don't understand the purpose of accessing my favorites folder for adding in a new torrent.

Does anyone else had it, i tried to search google but find nothing relevant.

If I were to guess, it uses that to read RSS streams. I can also recommend qBittorrent over uTorrent, it has no ads and better functionality (not to mention opensource).

agree. i download all mu linux iso that way.
