i got a evga 2060 ko with the tu104 chip ive shunt modded it still hitting power limit but currently beating everyone in the superposition rankings 1080p extreme but im only seeing a max of 140watts even though the vbios is a 170watt bios so im stuck trying to figure out how to defeat nvidias non sense current monitoring to finally have a stable core clock

How are you getting those readings? Shunt modding simply eliminates relying on software based current monitoring (because you know, you modded the the thing that measures how much current is being used). Get a current clamp and get a reading on the 12v PCIE power feed.

im using hwinfo if the shunt mod is taking affect then i would expect to be damn close to the power readings before the mod if im hitting power limits but im not which means theres some other current monitoring component i still need to bypass. and once i get my 3070 i plan to get this thing to fail
first i started by replacing both the 8pin and the pcie shunts with 4milli ohm shunts(original is 5 milli ohm) and the most i have seen the board pull is was 143watts but because of some coil like noises in a idle state i decided to undo the pcie shunt and replace the 8pin with a 3 milli ohm shunt
