How can I lose 100cad

Get the 12900K instead of KS, drop the SSD from 4TB to 2TB and upgrade later, download windows for free now and add a license later.

I am guessing you want to allocate more money to the motherboard for a Z series board? Otherwise, I recommend a non-k CPU.

Budget (including currency): don’t have one

Country: Canada

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: idk

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

no peripherals

1440p at 60hz

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

240MM radiator won't keep up with a 12900k. Let alone a KS. With your budget you're much better off with a 12700. Radiator is cheaper while being a better unit and keeping RGB. Also switched build to CAD and not US since you're in Canada.

I'm not actually trying to be as grumpy as it seems.

I will find your mentions of Ikea or Gnome and I will /s post.

What is the point of a 3080 to use such terrible monitors?

Please tell us what you actually intend to do with this system like the template for new posts here says and we'll be able to give better advice because right now this doesn't make much sense.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

Well I intend to use it for gaming, and I know nothing about monitors so…

Good catch. I completely missed that they weren't 1080. Saw the price and assumed.
