Low CPU speed

Go to solution Solved by unclewebb,

@Wr3ncher_B0i

In the TPL window, check the MMIO Lock box. Clear the Disable Controls box. Check the Speed Shift box. Set Power Limit 4 to a value of 0.

That should help. Run a log file if you are still having problems.

If the CPU isn't under any load, it downclocks automatically to save power and heat.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

problem with my cpu

Post pictures of ThrottleStop 9.5 while your CPU is throttling. Include the Limit Reasons window to find out why your CPU is throttling. Turn the Log File option on so you have a record of any throttling issues. Attach pictures and a log to your next post.

Excessive throttling in Lenovo laptops is common. ThrottleStop can fix many of these issues when it is properly setup.

Include pics of the FIVR and TPL windows so I can make some suggestions.

Your computer has a power limit throttling problem, likely first triggered by high temperatures. This much throttling is not necessary.
