I have been thinking on buying a new SSD for my computer, but I don't really want to lose all of my files. Is there a way to install windows on the SSD and run it as a boot drive while I have all my files on my HDD? Also is it posible to uninstall windows from my HDD without losing any of my programs/files/games?

You can use a Disk Imaging software that makes a copy of your drive to your new SSD. But most people recommend a fresh install

Corsair 600T White | Gigabyte Z77-UD3H | Intel Core i5-2500k | 8GB Gskill Ares@1600MHz | Gigabyte G1 GTX970 | OCZ ZT 550 | Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB | Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB | Samsung 840 EVO 250GB (boot) | Full Custom Loop | NZXT HUE

Clone the disk!

Better yet just install an OS on the SSD, then go to bios and set it as boot priority.then try to access your old HDD

Try too delete all windows related files but make sure your drivers and shiz are saved. :)
