Just brought these earphones: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/151288413581?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649

These normally retail for pretty much double the price than what this guy is selling them for as you can see from here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sennheiser-Precision-Isolating-Ear-canal-Phones/dp/B001EZYMF4

Who wants to bet that what i just ordered are most likely fakes ?

If they are for sure will be sending them back. But what do you guys think ?

you BOUGHT them, not brought. And they look like they were made in china for $0.03          EDIT: after looking closely at them and next to real packaging, they look pretty real to me.

Also looking at the description it looks like it was written by a 10 year old

@Snake

Hmm, hard to tell from the picture. But they do seem "similar". I used to own a pair of them headphones. They got really good audio clarity for the price. The lows are exceptional. At least for the price that they are.

Oh P.S as @Tea1337 said. It's "Bought" not "Brought" lol. I just forgot to mention that in my post, as I read it.

I don't think they look fake.

Iv seen fake products before and these companies that make them are very very good at making them look real you have to look very closely.

I contacted the seller and he said he has no way of knowing if they are the real deal or not as he has not opened them....Sketchy but i will send them back if i think there fake.

Changed it my bad was kind of side tracked while making the thread. Im not sure i will see what they are like once i get them but i will be surprised if they are legit.

Also the description is not that bad...Amazons is a hell of a lot worse as always.

Im thinking of buying the "same" pair from Amazon just to see if they are real or not. This seller also sells CX400-IIs and they were selling for around £18 bidding which is a very very good price if they are real.

They don't sell for double, just do some dollar to pound conversions.

Huh ? O.o what are you talking about ? I provided links to both...No need to do a conversion as they are both in GBP...

They seem pretty legit tbh so I don't think you'll have to buy the ones from Amazon. Unless you really, REALLY want to

I dunno what the CX400s are like. I got the CX870s (at the time were about £70) after my CX300s. TBH I thought the 300s were a lot better. They don't sell the 870s anymore which I'm not surprised lol.

I dont know i just think its kind of sketchy the seller does not know if they are real or not seems kind of strange. He is also selling IE80s for again pretty much half the price compared to amazon.

Get the E-bay one, and bring it to an authorized Sennheiser showroom/service center in your area. Don't say the price (being lower than amazon), just say you bought it online, and wondering if you got swindled or not.

I've read somewhere that Senn's going for a campaign against fakes, so they should be happy to help you identify it.

Good idea il have to give that a go. If thy say they are the real deal and then maybe they would be able to give me warranty as sennhesiser dont like giving you warranty on items brought from ebay, i have some PC360SEs which i know are real as they were a Amazon Vine item the stick was still on the box of the Amazon vine member who reviewed them, but sennhesiser still refused to give me a warranty :/
