I have an RX 6700 XT paired with a Dell S2721DGFA monitor. I have FreeSync Premium Pro active via the DisplayPort and play a variety of games and one of which is Euro and American Truck Simulator where the FPS peaks over 1000+ FPS making my card squeal like a stabbed pig.

My question is how do I efficiently limit FPS for such single player titles, also minimizing input lag on competitive titles like Call of Duty as I don't need 1000+ FPS!

There is but looking for the correct way for both single player and competitive player titles. I can use the in-game V-Sync option in certain games that don't feature a frame cap option and this helps however, so many options in the driver it's difficult to choose the correct methods.

The way i did it, I cap with MSI Afterburner and set a hotkey to toggle the activation.  Less hassle compare to setting up profile for each games.
