I thought it said 'lightning' and was like.. No I wouldn't recommend lightning for the inside of your PC..

OI another note, Bit Fenix alchemy LED straps are really the only ones that matter to me.

I recommenced either bitfenx LEDs http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=72_107_1246_836 or Akasa LEDs http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=72_107_1246_1245. The Akasa LED's are much cheaper but produce the same amount of light as the bitfenx LED strips.

Anyone recommend lighting for inside of a desktop? I've seen the strips but didn't know if someone could recommend something they've used before.

I highly recommend the Bitfenix Alchemy strips. I currently use a single blue 30cm strip, however 2 would be ideal if you're going to go for them. (one in the bottom and one in the top).

The adhesive is VERY strong and if you accidentally apply it in a bad position or wonky or something, it'll actually hold its strength after peeling it off (very easily) and re-applying it into the desired spot in the case. It doesn't leave any sticky residue.

Hope this helps.

I would recommend the bitfenix alchemy because they are easy to set up and use, they come with adhesive strips on the back so you can just easily stick them up there without any of that epoxy glue or super glue or hot glue stuffs. and also, they just come with a header, no soldering required. you can always just use a splitter to power the LEDs.

The NZXT Hue is a really good product. You can change the colours and even better, there are different modes such as a breathing one, a flickering one or two colour changing ones

I use it partially as a Hackintosh. Don't judge me.

If you want red, I really recommend bitfenix as their red is actually red and not orange or pink as it is the case with other manufacturers.

Quick question, can you dim CCFLs with a fan controller?
