I bought a plug and play cable for my Xbox One S controller. Problem is I can't figure out how to turn it off. If I hold down the Xbox logo, it just opens up the game bar. If I unplug it, the Xbox logo starts blinking slowly, like it is in paring mode. Right now, I am taking the battery out every time I want to shut down the controller. If there is no way to shut it down, can I leave it plugged in? Will it cause my rechargeable battery to die faster or have any other side effects?

Turn off Xbox game bar?

My Xbox one controller turns off eventually if I hold down the Xbox button long enough. Like 5+ seconds.

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.

I bought an xbox controller to use only with my PC. I don't like having to switch the pairing between devices so I got a wired controller. I got the Razer Wolverine V2.
