Gpu power connector doesn't fit

Eumel2

I got a bitfenix whisper m which I'm trying to connect to my gpu.

The 2 pin (of the 6+2 side) had a bit of extra plastic so it doesn't fit the gpus 8 pin connector.

What do i do?

Can i carefully shave off that bit?

Before making any physical alterations make sure you're inserting very carefully.

Since the 8 pin is keyed to only plug in one way, make sure you're not plugging it in upside down.

Are you able to insert the two pin by itself on the side of the 8 pin connector?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Turns out im an idiot. The little plastic bit that "attaches" the 2 pin to the 6 pin is usually in both sides but one of those was missing so i put the 2 pin on the wrong side...
