Budget (including currency): ~1700-1900 USD(inflation funny)

Country:USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: med and sometimes heavy gaming and light video production / general powerhouse

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc):

Tryna to upgrade from a Acer Predator Helios 300 ( intel 6 core 8thgen GTX 1060 6GB) still pretty powerful with some throttlestop finesse  despite being 4 years old. Still a great little machine. Battery doesn't last long though(thank god the laptop can run w/o the battery 😉 )

The GPU is there as a place holder for the general price of the build

I plan on using the 2.5 SSD(2) as a raid for video editing and the big 3.5 chonkers for games.

Already got peripherals and display worked out.( I am an audio

main concern is would it be worth to buy extra cables(sata , fan control , etc) just in case

prob will go for buy everything all at once option once I have the funds. which should be in mid September.

I sorta know how to build computers but that is a different topic

Overkill cooler

AM4 no more upgrades

you've spent nearly $200 for 4TB HDD's. Why not spend the same on a single 14TB HDD then? Wait a minute even a single 4TB HDD goes for $60 tf is this $90 they're got you for.

Could optimize SSD's. Needless cost.

Don't pay for a full windows license. Reseller will get you one for $20 not $100

Would recommend making a build then, not now. In two months time prices will change, availability will change and new generation of CPU's and GPU's will be announced, if not already be close to release.

1000w power supply is way overpowered for you pc and a waste of money, I would suggest getting a lower wattage psu.

Best is to wait for September and ask again then. Prices are dropping, and from what I understand around that time new stuff is launching.

Also you don't need any extra cables. Everything comes with the motherboard, PSU, etc. Sometimes motherboards only come with 1, but all of mine came with 2 SATA cables.
