Upgrading to 13600k

Hello. I am planning to upgrade my pc when 13600k launches and wanted to ask it reusing my 16gb ddr4 3000mhz cl16 ram and superflower leadex gold II 650w is a good idea?

Rest of specs: rtx 3070, 970 evo plus 1tb, planning on buying a z790 mobo and a decent cooler.

1. Will a 13600k and 3000mhz ram work fine with rtx 3070 on 1440p144hz? Or will I loose performance?

2. Is 650w enough for rtx 3070+13600k assuming it will have the same power consumption as 12600k?

Thanks

@jaslion using that psu with rtx 3070 and 9600k since january 2021 and didint have any issues, runs silent and cool. Also never seen  power consumption above 380w for the total system at 100% cpu and gpu.

I dont think a 13600k will go nearly topping the 650w

assuming it will follow the same 2 gen same mobo compatibility formula, you should be fine with ddr4 working on a z690 motherboard or z790 (assuming name) that has ddr4 slots. and 650w is still enough to cover all parts in full power in 2022.

Talking about the 3070 with its spikes. Thats about the only thing that is a possible issur but I dont think it will be. Its why I said thats about as far as I would recommend you go.
