Help needed in accessing android/data/user

Go to solution Solved by Kilrah,

These don't seem to be Android/data paths, but pure /data paths.

I.e. you can't get to this without rooting the phone.

To access Android/data paths you need to give your file explorer the permission to manage the entire storage in permission settings, but it's probably not going to help you there given the above.

Really hope this is in the right category, don't use this forum often, but I need help in accessing the user folder in Android/data.

I need to access this, since as some of you may have heard, the iconic oof sound is gone and I want to try any way to restore it without messing with the Roblox APKs files.

I've used an app called Skit that suggests that the files that I might need is located in /data/user/0/com.roblox.client. But I cannot access this folder, I can only make it as far as Android/data. I've enabled hidden files (which did practically nothing) and I'm now stuck at this point:

(the .nomedia file looks to be the file that makes the folder hidden, not sure)

If you can help me, that would be amazing. Thank you in advance.

You cannot access there using Google Files app. Solid Explorer can reach there with appropriate permissions.

I'm using the AOSP files app. The Xiaomi File Manager app does not let me access Android/data.

I'll try Solid Explorer though

Because android/data is different than /data. Android 10 changed access to that directory, you cant even read that directory without root access.
