Hi everyone,

I am planning on building a PC for my friend. The main two boundary conditions are size (as small as possible) and prize (~800€). That's why I am planning on using the Silverstone SUGO with a mini ITX board. The main goal for the PC is basic usage - lightweight work and web browsing, as well as sporadic gaming. We do not play very demanding games (e.g. Don't starve), and the graphic is not that important (but it also shouldn't be garbage 😄), hence the lack of a GPU. From my experience, the intel integrated graphics should be sufficient. I tried to make a build that is easily upgradable in the long run (LGA1700, DDR5, a second ram slot, a second M.2 slot, possible GPU installation). The prizes are the cheapest ones I could find using the german "idealo.de" prize comparison site.

My questions/concerns are the following:

  • Do all parts fit the Silverstone case? (When I built my PCs I always used midi/high towers, so I never really had to concern myself with space availability 😅)
  • Is 600W enough? Also assuming that a proper sized GPU is built in, in a few months/years? (As I saw from the LTT video, only 2-slotted, short GPU's can be built in - RTX 2060)
  • Is the air flow sufficient, since a larger ATX power supply is used? Since there is no GPU it should be theoretically fine, but assuming it is added later on?
  • Is the UHD 730 sufficient for running - Heroes of the Storm, DotA, ... at least on medium graphics, or should I go with the UHD 770 included in the i5-12500 (200 € more which should be hopefully still in the budget)?
  • Can the UHD 730 handle two independent monitors (theoretically only one is going to be used, but just in case he is planning on expanding)?
  • Any general recommendations?

Many thanks in advance!
