Hello first of all,

I am at a loss with my PC I am trying to troubleshoot it for... months now I believe. And I am not sure what to do neither do I feel like buying every part again to see what the issue is so I hope someone might had the same problem as I do rn.

I am on Windows 11 and benchmark wise my PC is performing as it should even a bit better. If I play games tho I am having stutters and frame drops all over the place it feels really unstable. I tried low settings, with every setting on and off I reinstalled everything already 3 times by now so basically went through the basics.

My specs are:

Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 Aorus Elite

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 32GB 3600

CPU Cooling: NZXT Kraken Z73 360mm

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800X

PSU: 700 Watt be quiet! System Power 9

GPU: PowerColor 6700xt

My BIOS is on the latest version F37c. XMP is on and my RAM is reliable on the actual 3600. Drivers are all checked since like I said the pc has been formatted multiple times by now.

My question is I am suspecting the Motherboard currently since AORUS got quite some backlash on their bad BIOS as I've seen and I was thinking about replacing that now any other suggestions?

Thanks in advance!

PS. I can include if needed any benchmarks

you might wanna inform yourself about TPM and Gigabyte issue. there is a long threat going on about this problem.

all over the place

that looks like a TPM Problem.

how to figure it out, go install windows 10 and disable TPM in your BIOS.

W11 as far as I know doesn't work with a disabled TPM.

but someone with more knowledge about this TPM problem has a better idea

Think I'm right avoiding Win11 TPM plague

I got a X570 Aorus Pro, Win10, TPM off, and never had stutters 🙂

So I can tell now you can turn it off actually the only thing that will turn off is BitLocker and Windows Hello which will lead to the situtation that you need to reconfigure your pin.

Took like 10 Seconds till it showed up.

I tested now a few games and everything seems stable its so unbelievable to me they have such an issue i am gonna be honest with you...

as well as for the rest of us, one of the longest thread in troubleshooting I have seen yet is about this exact Problem.

But I am glad we could fix your problem, you might wanna revisit Gigabytes website in the future for a bios update that fix that mess

The reason why i didn't look into it was because they claimed to fix it with the last patch at least thats what i read. Because they patched AGESA  again and i was told thats against the stuter issue.

The last topic of the thread was, that gigabyte did a shitty job with that update. And only gigabyte. But could be more motherboard producer
