Help?

I have a Gateway Gt4022 that I wanna do some upgrades to so that I can run some of the latest software since it still runs Windows xp from 2005. Mainly just to take a crack at taking old and making it new so that I can try to make a video out of. Any ideas or tips for at least a new motherboard? And would it be possible to get it to use an Intel i5?

That's a BTX chassis. BTX motherboards haven't been made in many, many years.

In order to upgrade that PC the way you're expecting, you would have to go full sleeper build and basically wrap its shell around a modern ATX chassis.
