unbuffered ecc ram

iirc these can work fine on mobos that dont support ecc, just the ecc part isnt gona work (idc about ecc anyways), just double checking if these can work fine on boarss that dont support ecc

 

Reason is just dirt cheap ddr2 2gb rams that are likely negotiable to be even cheaper since noone is buying them, also microns so i can atleast expect near 1000mhz

Is this registered ecc or unregistered? Usually unregistered have an extra ram chip but no ecc chip in the middle

The "u" in pc2 5300u means unbuffered.

If it has an f, that means buffered.

Don't buy that ram. I looked closer at the picture, it's 5300P, not U like the description. 

 

P means parity or buffered dimms. That's not going to work in your system.
