Modified Windows 7 version?

Are there any good modified windows 7 versions that allow you to still update? My PC was never really meant to be run on anything above windows 7 so i would like to downgrade.

As long as you have some vague idea of how to use a computer you can go without windows updates. A lot of that “windows 7 eol now it’s insecure” was just hype to get people to switch to windows 10. And a lot of people latched onto it to parrot the same thing.

I"m using win7 with no updates other than the sp1, no problems at all. Microsoft just wants people to be scared and update. Been using it for years.
